Dream Sports Africa directly reached 700 Nigerian youth in Abuja (boys and girls) from 16 high schools through 34 games over 8 weeks culminating in a May 2018 Nigeria Children’s Day finals event that had 2000 youth in attendance.
At this flagship annual Dream Sports Africa event donations of several sports items were made to Special Olympics Nigeria and several homeless youth in Abuja.
Overall this program reached 3000 youth in 8 weeks with direct participation and/or access to engaging physical activity through basketball complimented by life skills building community initiatives.
